YSISS students ace Cambridge exams

KUCHING: Yayasan Sarawak International Secondary School (YSISS) in Petra Jaya is celebrating the outstanding performance of its inaugural cohort of 99 students in the recent Cambridge Checkpoint Examinations.
The school said that all students achieved a 100 per cent pass rate, with a significant number excelling in key subjects.
Over 40 per cent of students secured the highest Outstanding Band in Mathematics and Science, while nearly 25 per cent achieved the same distinction in English as a Second Language.
“Impressively, almost 20 per cent of our students excelled by securing the Outstanding Band in all three subjects. Notably, four students achieved perfect band scores across the board,” YSISS said on Facebook.
The school attributed this success to the combined efforts of students, teachers and parents.
“This achievement reflects the collaborative efforts of our entire school community. We congratulate our students on their exceptional performance and hope this will inspire others to strive for excellence,” the school added.
