KUCHING: X-FAB Sarawak Sdn Bhd was awarded the Global HR Excellence Award at the World HRD Congress.
The presentation of award was held at Taj Lands’ End Hotel, Mumbai, India on Feb 15 this year.
The award was accepted by Human Resource (HR) director of X-FAB Sarawak Maureen Labarge on behalf of the organisation.
“It is a testimony of our company’s steadfast focus in ensuring that all our HR practices are conducive, inclusive, and rewarding towards strengthening and positioning X-FAB Sarawak as an employer of choice in Malaysia and beyond,” she said in a statement here yesterday.
X-FAB Sarawak was chosen based on the extensive selection criteria pertaining to their HR practices and philosophy which is to attract, develop and retain employees through their employee development and engagement, performance, and rewards programmes.
The World HRD Congress 2023 was a worldwide event for human resources, with more than 1870 HR professionals from over 133 countries in attendance.
The congress featured a distinctive combination of conferences, workshops, exhibitions, sharing and learning opportunities aimed to advance knowledge and skills.
The Global HR Excellence Awards event is where the achievements of those involved in people development are celebrated.
