KUALA LUMPUR: Wonda Coffee has collaborated with Astro Shaw to launch ‘Wonda Kopi Edisi Kluang’, the first Kluang-style coffee in a ready-to-drink (RTD) package last Friday (Aug 23).
According to a statement released by Wonda Coffee, this collaboration aims to celebrate the rich flavours of Malaysia and unveil Keluang Man’s new look.
“This marks a significant moment for fans as they eagerly anticipate the release of the Keluang Man film in 2025. Central to this event is the unveiling of Keluang Man’s dramatically redesigned suit, representing a bold transformation in the character’s history.
“The launch of ‘Wonda Kopi Edisi Kluang’ features the iconic hero on its can, celebrating the harmonious blend of local heritage with modern innovation,” the statement read.
Amy Gan, Vice President of Marketing at Etika, expressed her excitement about partnering with Astro Shaw to launch ‘Wonda Kopi Edisi Kluang,’ highlighting that the collaboration offers a unique experience that strongly resonates with Malaysians.
“We want to celebrate the character with a product that combines the best of Wonda’s coffee expertise with the powerful spirit embodied by Keluang Man.
“The rich blend pays homage to the strength and resilience that Keluang Man represents, and we believe this collaboration is a testament to the power of local storytelling and the magic that happens when two iconic brands come together,” she said.
Additionally, she mentioned that through this collaboration, they hope to strengthen their connection with consumers, leaving a sense of nostalgia and excitement that Keluang Man brings and creating lasting memories for coffee lovers nationwide.
Meanwhile, Raja Jastina Raja Arshad, the Executive Director of the Keluang Man movie and Head of Astro Shaw stated that the film has unique strengths. By leveraging these strengths, they are opening the door to various exciting activities and collaborations.

Raja Jastina added that unveiling the film’s official suit has answered many fans’ questions about Keluang Man’s suit. The suit represents the character’s most significant transformation since its introduction, and Keluang Man will make his inaugural public appearance in the new suit during the Merdeka Day celebrations on August 31 at Dataran Putrajaya.
