ASAJAYA: A 35-year-old woman narrowly escaped injury in a pick-up truck crash along Jalan Jamukan Kiri this morning.
The accident happened around 7.10 am when the vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a ditch.
Firefighters from Asajaya station were dispatched to the scene, about 8km away, after receiving an emergency call.
Upon arrival, the driver had already been rescued by passers-by and was confirmed unhurt.
The team proceeded to disconnect the vehicle’s battery to eliminate any further risk.
