SIMANGGANG: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi attended a luncheon at Seri Simanggang Hotel today (Dec 1).
The couple was warmly welcomed by a gathering of around 150 individuals, including government officials and community leaders from the Simanggang area.
The luncheon, organised by the Pesta Benak main committee, fostered community spirit and strengthened ties.
Accompanying Wan Junaidi upon his arrival were Minister of Food Industry, Commodity, and Regional Development Datuk Seri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom and wife Datin Seri Loreta Sawat.
Also present were Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation, and Talent Development and Simanggang assemblyman Datuk Francis Harden Hollis, Sri Aman MP Datuk Seri Doris Sophia Brodie, Bukit Begunan assemblyman Datuk Mong Dagang, Engkilili assemblyman Johnical Rayong Ngipa, and Acting Resident of the Sri Aman Division and Chairperson of the Pesta Benak 2024 Main Committee Mahra Salleh.
