MIRI: A crew member of a vessel was found dead inside a worker’s quarters in Kuala Baram last Friday after having breathing difficulties.
According to Miri police chief ACP Lim Meng Seah, the 65-year-old Myanmar man had been placed in a care centre by his company since last August 2 following a minor stroke.
Lim added that the deceased identified as Myint San @ Phone Nyunt was supposed to return to his country on Aug 18 after his health deteriorated.
“The body has been brought to Miri hospital morgue for post mortem and a swab test for Covid-19 will be carried out,” said Lim.
