BINTULU: A delegation from Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Campus, attended the OTD2024 Conference in Fuzhou, China, recently to strengthen international academic relations and promote technological innovation.
The delegation led by its Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences dean, Professor Association Dr Wong Tze Jin, included Dr Shairil Izwan Taasim, as well as Dr Alvin Lim.
The conference was a platform for the university to exchange ideas and explore potential cooperation in the fields of technology, education, and sustainable agriculture.
As part of the tour agenda, the delegation also visited leading institutions such as Fujian Xinhua Technology School and Fuzhou Software Technology Vocational College.
Discussions with these institutions focused on collaboration opportunities in the development of virtual reality (VR) technology, educational innovation and sustainable agriculture.
“This visit opens up opportunity to strengthen international cooperation, accelerate innovation, and bring direct benefits to both the local and global communities,” said Dr Wong.
