SIBU: Good news for independent Chinese secondary school students within the Sibu parliamentary constituency! Local Member of Parliament, Oscar Ling Chai Yew Service Centre has launched the 2024 Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) Outstanding Student Award Programme.
According to Ling, students who meet the required criteria are welcome to submit their application forms.
He stated that applicants for the programme must reside within the P.212 Sibu parliamentary constituency to qualify.
This programme, he pointed out, aims to reward students for their outstanding performance in the 2024 UEC.
He outlined that the application requirements include a minimum of 4As in the 2024 UEC; a photocopy of the 2024 UEC result slip; a photocopy of the applicant’s identity card and the applicant’s residential address must be within the P.212 Sibu parliamentary constituency.
Applications must be submitted by 4 pm on Feb 5 to the second floor of Democratic Action Party (DAP) Headquarters at Rejang Park Commercial Centre, he said, adding, late submissions will not be accepted.
