This is in appreciation of the frontline workers who have worked tirelessly during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Since May 19, Tzu Chi has provided 720 coverall jumpsuits and 80,000 latex gloves to eight hospitals in different divisions of the state.

These include 16,500 gloves to the Sarawak General Hospital, 720 coverall jumpsuits and 6,000 gloves to Sibu Hospital, 18,000 gloves to Bintulu Hospital, 23,000 gloves to Sarikei Hospital, 2000 gloves to Kapit Hospital, 5,000 gloves to Sri Aman Hospital, 7,500 gloves to Mukah Hospital and 2,000 gloves to Daro Hospital.

The founder of Tzu Chi Foundation, Cheng Yen said, “This is a time to show our love globally. Those who are safe and protected should reach out to those in need and suffering.”

“We hope the timely donations will be helpful because gloves are in low supply due to market supply constraints.”
