SIBU: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud and his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Raghad Kurdi Taib visited prominent entrepreneur, KTS Group managing director Datuk Henry Lau, in conjunction with the ongoing Chinese New Year celebration, here today (Jan 25).
Deputy Minister for Education, Innovation, and Talent Development Datuk Dr Annuar Rapaee was among those in the entourage.
Upon arrival, Taib and his entourage were welcomed by Henry’s wife Datin Wendy Lau, and Temenggong Datuk Vincent Lau Lee Ming.
Others who welcomed His Excellency were Rejang Port Authority chairman Datuk Joseph Salang and Temenggong Datuk Wan Hamid Edruce.
Later in the evening, His Excellency will attend a gathering hosted by United Chinese Association (UCA) Sibu at Kingwood Hotel.
