KUCHING: Head of State (TYT) Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar graciously received His Highness Datuk Seri Diraja Syed Razlan Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail, the Raja Laksamana of Perlis, during an audience at the Astana Negeri Sarawak on Tuesday (Jan 14).
The meeting, held at 10am, was to present an invitation letter to Wan Junaidi for the Silver Jubilee celebration of the reign of His Royal Highness Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail, the Raja of Perlis, scheduled for April.
Wan Junaidi expressed his gratitude for the visit and extended prayers for the smooth success of the upcoming celebration, which he described as a testament to the prosperity and harmony of the people of Perlis under the royal institution’s leadership.
Also present were Abu Bakar Hamzah, member of the Perlis Executive Council and Kuala Perlis assemblyman; Deputy State Secretary of Perlis (Development) Rusdi Yahya; Ahmad Tarmizi Mohd Asarani, secretary of the Division of Council Management, Protocol and Ceremonies; as well as director of Politeknik Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin, Khairul Anuar Ishak.
