MALACCA: The close relationship between Sarawak and Malacca would continue to be strengthened for the benefit of the people in both states and development of Malaysia.

Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, voiced his confidence during a dinner in Malacca alongside his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, and Malacca Head of State Tun Seri Setia Dr. Mohd Ali Mohd Rustam, accompanied by his wife Toh Puan Datuk Dr. Asmah Ab Rahman.

The event was held in a harmonious and cordial atmosphere, enlivened by fruitful discussions and exchanges of views.

The meeting also served as an important platform to strengthen the bond of friendship between Sarawak and Melaka.

Wan Junaidi and Fauziah expressed their gratitude to Mohd Ali and Asmah for their warm hospitality and exceptional reception.

After the dinner reception, Wan Junaidi and Fauziah took their time to experiece the Malacca River Cruise.

Wan Junaidi praised the success of the Melaka River Cruise, which was initiated by Mohd Ali during his tenure as the Chief Minister of Melaka.

He expressed his admiration for its appeal, which has now become one of Malacca leading tourist destinations.

“I am deeply impressed by the excellence of this project. The Malacca River Cruise not only promotes the beauty of the natural environment but also strengthens the historical and cultural values of the state,” he said.

He extended his congratulations on the success of the Malacca River Cruise, which has become a source of pride for the Malacca people and a symbol of visionary development.
