LUNDU: A two-storey house at Kampung Seling Melayu here caught fire today (Mar 12).
Lundu fire chief PPgB Putra Ila said a report on the incident was received around 3pm.
“Firefighters managed to put out the flames using a nearby fire hydrant and only 40 percent of the house was damaged,” he said in a statement today, adding that the house has five occupants —three men and two women.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
