MIRI: Two men were arrested for running amok in two separate incidents over last weekend.
In the first case, a suspect, 31, was apprehended by police at a house in Kampung Batu 1, Jalan Lutong-Kuala Baram after he ran amok and destroyed several items belonging to his mother-in-law.
The amok incident took place at a house in Kampung Pengkalan Lutong.
Meanwhile, in another incident that happened at a house in Tudan Desaras Phase 6, a 22-year-old man damaging two vehicles belonging to his aunt.
The aunt, 62, called the police for help. The suspect fled the scene upon seeing the law.
However, police managed to track him down and he was detained and brought in for questioning.
