KUCHING: Two men sustained injuries after their cars were involved in a collision at Jalan Demak here today.
A spokesman from the State Fire Department operations centre said the accident happened around 11.10am and firefighters from Petra Jaya were despatched to the scene.
Upon arriving, the team found that one of them was trapped in his car while the other managed to get out by himself.
The firemen successfully extricated the trapped motorist and handed him over to paramedics for early treatment.
Both men were later taken to hospital for further treatment.
