KUCHING: Two families were evacuated to a relief centre after their homes were hit by flood at Kampung Paon in Lundu, yesterday.
Their homes were among the five affected by flood after heavy rain.
The Lundu Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) station received the distress call at 9.23am.
The families have been evacuated to the Kampung Paon Community Hall.
Other than Kampung Paon, the other affected villages are Kampung Sebat Dayak, Kampung Sebat Melayu, Kampung Temaga Dayak, Kampung Temaga Melayu and Kampung Sebat Baru.
