KUCHING: The road leading to Serian will take a two-hour drive due to traffic jam during the upcoming Gawai Dayak and Hari Raya festive season.

A concerned member of the public reached out to New Sarawak Tribune today to remind those heading to Serian during the upcoming celebrations this weekend and celebration next week to take note of the two-hour drive to the town area due to traffic jam.

With that, celebrants are advised to plan their drive early for the festive season to avoid being caught in the heavy traffic jam along the way.

Apart from that, members of the public are advised to have their vehicles checked before leaving for any of their villages to avoid the vehicle from being stalled or breaking down while on the road.

As the festive season is about patience and forgiveness, the general public are also advised to be patient and forgiving on the road as well as abide by the proper driving etiquette.
