KUCHING: tHe Spring management is closely monitoring updates from the relevant authorities regarding ongoing roadworks outside the shopping mall.

On Nov 30, the roadwork caused massive traffic congestion within the shopping mall’s compound, affecting shoppers during the weekend.

“We are looking into the best way to manage this situation, as the ongoing public roadwork is outside the mall and, thus, beyond our control. Our customers are our main priority, so we will take the necessary measures to handle this,” a spokesperson said when contacted by Sarawak Tribune.

The management assured that the mall remains fully accessible and operational, aiming to maintain customer confidence and ensure their shopping experience is unaffected.

Additionally, the management plans to formally request assistance from the police and the People’s Volunteer Corps (RELA).

The construction work is expected to be completed by Dec 31.
