KUCHING: Seven actors have portrayed James Bond on the silver screen. Following Sean Connery’s portrayal, David Niven, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig have assumed the role.
Niven and Lazenby both had the shortest stints as Bond.
Niven starred in the original Casino Royale in 1967. And Australian Lazenby played the Bond role in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969).
