PEKAN: Tengku Muda Pahang Tengku Abdul Rahman Sultan Ahmad Shah yesterday expressed his full confidence in the reign of his elder brother Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah as the new Sultan of Pahang.

Tengku Abdul Rahman said his brother had the capability as he had the experience and guidance of their father, Sultan Ahmad Shah, the fifth   Sultan of Pahang.  

“… I believe that the Sultan will reign with excellence and wisdom.

“I and the noblemen of Pahang pray that Allah always blesses his reign and allows this beloved state to remain peaceful and   prosperous and the people, united and harmonious … InsyaAllah (God willing),” he said in his declaration of loyalty to   Sultan Abdullah at the proclamation of the sixth Sultan of Pahang at Istana Abu Bakar here.

Also present were Tengku Puan Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah and members of the Pahang royal family, Pahang court, state leaders and community leaders.
