Temple upgrading project ready soon

MIRI: The ongoing upgrading works of Hai Long Si Temple here is expected to be completed soon.

According to Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas), the construction work started last year and is being carried out smoothly.

Transport Minister and Senadin assemblyman Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin visited the site on Saturday to see for himself the upgrading works currently being carried out.

The Hai Long Si Temple upgrading project for the Miri Some Shao Lung Kung Deity Association is a project under the Unit for Other Religions (Unifor) with an allocation of RM500,000.

Also present during the visit were Pujut assemblyman and Miri City Council mayor Adam Yii Siew Siang and Unifor director Richard Lon.
