MUKAH: The Kampung Tellian Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) received courtesy call from a Kampung No. 3 (New) JKKK delegation, Kuching on Thursday (Feb 10).
The three JKKKs consist of JKKK Kampung Tellian Ulu, Tengah and Kampung Tradisi Tellian had made initial preparations to receive a visit from Kuching Division.
According to the chairman of the committee for the programme, Penghulu Kampung Tellian Bonaventure Juana, more than 40 people from the delegation would arrive at Tellian Village at 2pm led by Chief Minister’s political secretary Faridah Osman and village chief of No.3 (New) Liliana Bohari.
“This is the first time our village gets visited by other village JKKK from outside of the Mukah Division.
“They made a visit to Dalat District and Balingian Sub District earlier,” said Bonaventure.
Bonaventure said that the delegation would make a visit to Belanga for its Sago grain making factory, Lamin Dana, wet Sago flour processing factory, Jerunei Pillar and Sapan Puloh Museum. Later in the evening, a dinner would be held.
