HENRY Cavill has officially stepped into the role of fatherhood!
The “Man of Steel” star and his girlfriend, Hollywood executive Natalie Viscuso, have welcomed their first child together, as confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter. Details regarding the child’s name, birthdate, or gender have yet to be disclosed.
Recently, the Daily Mail published photographs of the couple pushing a pram in Australia on January 18, where Cavill has been filming “Voltron”.
The news of their impending parenthood was first confirmed in April when Cavill expressed his excitement.
“I’m very excited about it. Natalie and I are both very excited about it. I’m sure you’ll see much more of that,” he remarked at the New York City premiere of The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.
When asked whether his co-star Henry Golding had inspired him to embrace fatherhood, Cavill replied with a chuckle, “I mean, he didn’t inspire me to do that. My parents did.”
The actor previously opened up about his desire to become a father during a November 2017 interview with Men’s Health. At the time, he expressed concerns about waiting too long but maintained his goal of being an active and energetic parent.
“You know, if I ever have kids one day, I want to be the dad who’s running around after them,” he said. “And if I do have kids, I want to be a fit and healthy dad, not hobbling around like, ‘OK, I’m just going to catch a breather.’ Yeah, I’m going to take care of my body — look good, but not overdo it.”
Cavill and Viscuso made their relationship public on Instagram in April 2021. Viscuso, the vice president of Vertigo Entertainment, has an impressive career in Hollywood. She previously worked at Legendary Entertainment, which produced several of Cavill’s projects, including “Man of Steel” and “Enola Holmes”.
