Super Save Elite offers vibrant and mesmerising Aidilfitri decorations

KUCHING: As Hari Raya Aidilfitri approaches, vibrant energy fills the atmosphere, with homes and communities coming alive as they prepare to celebrate the end of Ramadan.
Amid the preparations for this joyous celebration, one can find shops selling Aidilfitri decorations popping up, offering an array of ornaments to adorn homes.
Decorating at the entrance of the shop, Super Save Elite, known for its festive decorations, displays an array of green and yellow Aidilfitri decorations that catch the eyes of buyers with their vibrant colours and mesmerising designs – a scene embodying the joyous spirits of Aidilfitri.
Maylly, who has been employed at Super Save Elite for over a year, noted that sales have been sluggish this year due to limited supplies available.
“Compared to last year, we have to make do with the limited space we have now, unlike the ample space we had last year,” she lamented, reflecting on the difference in stock conditions between last year and this year.
She also mentioned that the most popular decorations among their customers are lavish-looking containers for storing biscuits and cakes, as well as hanging ornaments.
“We have other items like duit raya packets, festive fairy lights shaped like ketupat and pelita poles, which are also some of the many things people buy to decorate their houses for the upcoming Aidilfitri.”
However, Maylly also suggested some ideas, including decorating with small fairy lights paired with banners displaying “Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri” and adorable gold and coloured ribbon ketupat for added charm.
“I recommend people get the pelita poles just to add a little more traditional Aidilfitri ambiance.
“In addition to our standard gas-powered pelita, customers can be innovative by integrating electrical cabling and changing the lamp wick for a bulb instead,” she added.
Maylly also mentioned that Super Save Elite offers solar-powered pelita poles, which are more environmentally friendly and eliminate any potential fire hazards.
The prices range from as low as RM1.50 to as high as RM100, depending on the item.
“I really hope that more people will come to Super Save Elite for their decoration needs closer to the Aidilfitri dates,” Maylly expressed.
