SIBU: Morphos Family Resource Club Sibu (MFRCS) will host a two-day Family Harmony Summit 2024 at RH Hotel here from May 25.

According to organising chairman Kelvin Hii, around 500 local and international participants are expected to take part in the event.

“Established in 2017, MFRCS is a non-profit organisation dedicated to foster healthy family development through support systems, education and referral services.

“The fundamental belief that drives us to organise the summit is to have correct family values as we believe the family is the foundation of our society.

“Therefore, educating and fostering healthier family relationships will bring healthier and happier individuals and societies,” he told a press conference here Friday (April 19).

Hii (fourth from left) with other organising commitee display the summit’s posters.

Key themes and topics to be discussed are technology and mental health; family dynamics in the digital era; self-discovery; and embracing change, he said.

Hii stated that the event will feature a lineup of speakers from Singapore, Taiwan, and Kuala Lumpur, each bringing a wealth of expertise and practical insights to the table.
