KUCHING: The Stutong Community Market located near Jalan Setia Raja will be temporarily closed for 14 days.
Kuching City South Council (MBKS) confirmed the matter in a Facebook post on Monday.
It stated that under the order of the Ministry of Health (MoH), all operations at the Stutong Community Market will be suspended starting from July 27 until August 9.
MBKS mentioned that the closure is to prevent the spread of Covid-19 within the area.
The council extends its regrets for the inconvenience caused to the stakeholders and urges the public to give their full cooperation.
