MUKAH: A local KRIS Theatre Group displayed stunning performances during the launching ceremony of the State- level Negaraku Sehati Sejiwa programme held here, recently.
The group’s selection to perform in such a very important programme has byself placed the group from SMK Dalat as among, if not the best of its kind in the state.
At the event, the group was given the honour to be the special opening gambit with their pantomime entiled “Konfrontasi (Confrontation)” and poems declamation “Puisi Berantai Jalur Gemilang Cerminan Aura Sehati Sejiwa.”
The masterpiece directed by the group’s coordinator, Juni Jon Ajinoor with its up to mark presentation, stunned the audience at the event staged at Pehin Setia Raja Square here on 19 August.
Presenters of the chain poems declamation were Hani Juita Natasya Juni, Juriani Jugam, Marcella Mazlan, Criselda Yap and Nurul Atikah Brahim.
It was followed by a pantomime which portrayed creative moves with rhythmical steps and gestures which made the more than 5,000 crowd glued to their seats.
Juni pointed out that it was about the incarnation or born of a selected embryo from a million and eventually becoming the champion among champions.
“Despite being very special, he faced all kinds of challenges including the envy of millions of embryos. And the conclusion of the story indicated that the freedom of a human being requires a strong self resilience and the spirit of wanting to help others in a united heart or one heart (Sehati Sejiwa),” Juni said.
Being grateful with the performances of his charges, this teacher of SMK Dalat thanked the organiser for giving them the honour to be part of this state-level programme which was officiated by the Chief Minister, Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg.
The sterling performances of the casing members Nor Azmi Lawrence, Queenevelyn anak Boi, Nur Aimuni Radhwa Abdullah, Mohd Adib Syukran Abdullah Nur Audreyana Abdul Rahim, Siti Nurhaizi Mohd Hermi, Firdaus Abdullah, Dennis Dunstan Chan, Kristoffer Jason, Adi Putra Adila, Zucressiana Sumin, Kiu Mei Hing, Sherry Veronica Intha, Joyce Ngu, Norzanna Roslan and Konika Wis had enliven the opening gambit of the programme.
