MUKAH: A number of canopies erected at the Mukah Ramadan Bazaar here were uprooted by strong winds early yesterday.
The incident, believed to have occurred between 12.30am and 1.00am also uprooted several trees and caused damaged to light structures in the district.
Following the incident, stall owners and the relevant authority reinstalled the canopies yesterday morning to ensure that the annual bazaar would operate as usual.
