KUCHING: Sarawak’s abundant resources and clear future direction have positioned the state for rapid growth, said President of the Sarawak Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and Sarawak Business Federation (SBF) Datuk Abang Abdul Karim Tun Datuk Abang Openg.
“We frequently receive visits from international delegates, including ambassadors and chambers of commerce from the region and Europe,” he said during officiating ceremony at the Techno IDEAS Showcase, Jalan Rubber today (Dec 9).
“In the past, they might not have been aware of our potential, but now they’re keen to explore opportunities here.”
He pointed out that Sarawak’s peaceful environment and supportive ecosystem for entrepreneurship as key factors driving the state’s progress.
“Our political stability and abundant resources, coupled with a clear roadmap for the future, create a conducive environment for growth and innovation,” he added.
