KUCHING: A 45-year-old woman had to endure pain for several hours caused by the ring on her finger before a team of firefighters relieved her of the ordeal.
The ring was stuck on her right ring finger.
The woman, accompanied by her husband, turned up at Sri Aman fire station at 10.20am after she realised she could not remove the ring from her finger that had somehow swollen up.
The firefighters took less than eight minutes to remove the ring using a ring cutter.
The operation ended at 10.30am.
