MUKAH: Recipients of residential lots under the Village Expansion Scheme (SPK) Tellian Tengah Phase 1 are reminded not to sell their lots.
Mukah Division Land and Survey Officer, Dahari Anis, stressed that the lots must be well-maintained.
“Recipients must remember their initial intention when applying, which was to build and own their own homes.”
Dahari said this during the Approval Letter Handover Ceremony for SPK Tellian Tengah Phase 1, Mukah, and the Compensation Cheque Presentation within the Tellian State Legislative Assembly (DUN) area at the Level 1 Conference Hall, Menara Pehin Setia Raja, here yesterday.
He added that the preparation cost for each lot is approximately RM120,000 to RM150,000, with infrastructure development starting in September 2024 and expected to be completed by September 2026.
He explained that as of Dec 3, fieldwork progress had reached 3.72 per cent, surpassing the actual schedule of 3.58 per cent by 0.14 per cent.
Additionally, he provided an explanation about SPK, the conversion of Temporary Occupation License (TOL) to land titles, and the fieldwork being carried out under SPK Tellian Tengah Phase 1.
Dahari hopes that the government’s noble efforts to ensure Sarawakians receive these facilities and infrastructure will enhance the local community’s socioeconomic wellbeing.
Meanwhile, Tellian assemblyman Royston Valentine officiated the ceremony by presenting approval letters to 109 recipients and compensation cheques to two recipients.
Also present were Mukah District Officer Peleadzman Ahip and Housing Development Corporation (HDC) Administrative Officer Abang Zaidan Abang Abdul Rahim.
