MIRI: A group of people was stunned when they encountered a photo of a woman who was tied up to a tree in a jungle on Tuesday morning.
However, the actual location of the discovery was not immediately known.
The incident has become a sensational buzz amongst social media users for the past few days.
It was learnt that the group immediately took the photo to an Islamic medical practitioner who had the photo soaked and boiled.
Sources said the “Ruqyah” was recited over the water before it was used to soak and boil the photograph.
This was for the purpose of protection or cure, the sources added.
After boiling the photograph for a few minutes, he (the Islamic medical practitioner) immediately burnt it so as to cast out the evil spirit which he believed was residing inside the photograph.
It was believed whoever the culprit was had intended to bring harm upon the woman in the photograph.
