KUCHING: Eateries are advised to provide cutleries soaked in hot water to kill bacteria or viruses.
Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) chairman Lo Khere Chiang said this was one of the council’s licensing conditions for food premises.
“For those who do not obey, action can be taken including revocation of licence,” he said in a statement today.
Apart from that, all business premises were encouraged to use at least one digital application to register customers at business premises other than manual record books.
The digital applications are My Sejahtera, Qmunity and Covid Trace.
“Through the application developed to assist in the surveillance of Covid-19 in the country, it helps the Ministry of Health (MOH) to get preliminary information to take quick and effective action.
“Therefore, business premises operators in the administrative area of MPP are advised to comply with all instructions or standard operating procedures (SOPs) issued by the government to curb the spread of this virus,” he added.
