Observing the myriads of ants
On the rainforest floor, in Borneo
Or listening to the songbirds
In the valleys, of the Himalayas
Admiring the tall cedars, of Lebanon
And the Boabab trees, of the Savannahs
How can you not be mesmerised
By the cloud cladded mountains
Or in the early morning dawn
Be fascinated by the rippling waves
On the shores of Kaikoura
Or in the plains of ancient Ur
Is He not there, in the galaxies up above
Shining out bright, on a clear night sky
Or in the unseen world of the microbes
Can’t you imagine catching His whispers
In the cool morning breeze, caressing
His warm embrace, in the morning sun’s glow
He is there, present in all the places
His immanence in the seen, and unseen
So how dare you ignore His Providence
When He is closer to you, He says
Yes, closer to, then your jugular vein
Was present before Time, and lasting forever beyond
