BINTULU: SMK Bandar is set to undergo a major transformation as Tanjong Batu assemblyman Johnny Pang Leong Ming announced the implementation of a school upgrading project through the Rural Transformation Project (RTP) fund.

During a visit with the chairman of the Parent-Teacher Association (PIBG) of the school, Edwin Wong, Pang handed over three main projects to contractors, including the repair of the school’s second entrance.

“The second entrance will resolve the congestion issue at the main entrance. Now, the school community will have easier and more comfortable access,” he said.

In addition, the other two projects involve the refurbishment of old windows and the installation of air conditioning in the school hall to ensure a more comfortable environment for various events and school activities.

Pang noted that this investment is aimed at ensuring that students and teachers can enjoy a more conducive learning environment, while parents will no longer be burdened by congestion issues.

“This is not just a development project, but a step towards advancing education and the comfort of the community.”
