KUCHING: Sarawak Media Group (SMG), parent company of TV Sarawak (TVS), has clarified that the recent remand of one of its senior executives is unrelated to the company’s operations.
In a statement issued via TVS’ official Facebook page, SMG/TVS said that its business operations will continue as usual.
“We acknowledge recent reports concerning the remand of a senior executive, which has drawn public attention and we wish to clarify that the matter is on a personal level.
“We encourage any inquiries or clarifications on this matter to be directed to us through our official communication channels to ensure authentic and accurate information,” the group said.
It said that SMG is committed to uphold the principles of fairness and will fully cooperate with the relevant authorities, if necessary.
