KUCHING: The public is advised to take note of six road closures tomorrow (Jan 10) for the parade marking the beginning of the Sabah and Sarawak Legal Year 2025.
Kuching police chief ACP Mohd Farhan Lee Abdullah said the closures will be implemented in stages starting from 6 am to ensure the smooth traffic flow.
The affected roads are as follows:
* Jalan Gambir towards Jalan Main Bazaar
* Jalan Main Bazaar towards Jalan Pearl
* Jalan Tun Abang Haji Openg towards Jalan Barrack
* Jalan Barrack towards Jalan Masjid
* Padang Pasir roundabout towards Jalan Masjid
* Jalan P.Ramlee towards Jalan Masjid
He said the parade will proceed from the Old Court House to the Hikmah Exchange Event Centre.
Mohd Farhan advised the public to refrain from parking along the roadsides and to plan their journeys by taking alternative routes to avoid congestion.
