DATUK Seri Siti Nurhaliza recently found herself at the centre of online chatter after a clip of her seemingly upset at her concert crew went viral.
The footage showed Siti backstage at her Sebuah Epitome: Saya Siti Nurhaliza concert, appearing somewhat distressed before her performance, which led some to speculate that she is not as nice as she appears on social media.
Addressing the incident on social media, Siti explained that the tension seen in the video was actually her panicking after discovering that her ear monitor was not turned on.
“The LED was already on, and I was about to start singing. Can you imagine if I couldn’t hear anything? An ear monitor is crucial for a singer; it helps us hear the music and other sounds clearly.
“Some thought I looked angry, but really, do not take things too seriously. I was not angry,” she clarified.
