KUCHING: Cha Su Li, a seasoned singer from here, who represented the Sarawak Chai Clan Association, emerged champion in the veteran category of the national-level Chai Clan singing competition held in Miri recently.
Another talented singer from the association, Angel Chai won second prize in the youth section of the competition and also the Best Costume Award.
The national level singing competition was held during the triple anniversary celebrations of the Miri Chai Clan Association, namely 35th anniversary of the association, 25th anniversary of its youth wing and 8th anniversary of its women section.
