KUCHING: Dawas Jandar, a long-time supporter of Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) is touched that party president Datuk Professor Dr Sim Kui Hian and fellow SUPP members have never forgotten him.
The 63-year-old, who has been supporting the party since 1974, is thankful for everything that SUPP has done for him and other residents here in Sungai Apong.
“The party has helped us a lot, no one else has helped us in ways that they have helped us.
“SUPP have helped those who really needed it and Dr Sim has always been there to help us,” he said.
Sim, who is also the Minister of Local Government and Housing, went to visit Dawas on the second day of Gawai at his residence in Sungai Apong here.
