SIBU: Sibu MP Oscar Ling Chai Yew’s Service Centre will host its fifth mobile service counter at Kim Guong Drug Store, Jalan Central here on Jan 18, Saturday, from 8.30am to 11.30am.

According to Ling, during the event, assistance will be provided to Sibu residents in applying for the Sarawak Senior Citizen Health Benefit Scheme (SCHB).

He stated that the fourth session of the mobile service counter, held on Jan 11 at the same location, received a positive response from the public, with the team processing around 200 registration applications.

He also expressed his gratitude to ex-Bukit Assek assemblywoman Irene Chang and her team for helping up in the event.

“Residents intending to register for the upcoming session are reminded to bring photocopies of their identity cards.

“Eligibility criteria for applicants; must be a Malaysian citizen aged 60 years or above, the identity card must have the letter “K” to indicate Sarawakian status and the total monthly household income must be less than RM7,000,” Ling stated.
