SIBU: Sibu Jaya proved their supremacy when the team trounced Jayen FT 2 – 1 in the final to lift the Seventh Son Futsal Championship rophy at Bukit Lima Futsal stadium on Sunday.

The joint third placings went to Star Manok and Uranus FC.

The event was organised by Seventh Son Sport and Recreational Club in collaboration with Information Department and 1 Malaysia Community at Bukit Lima Futsal stadium which concluded on Sunday afternoon.

Sibu Jaya also took pride on its goalkeeper, Mohd Khairul Abdul Hamid who was named the best goal keeper of the competition.

Julkipli Yusuf of Jayen FT was named the best player and top scorer.

Dudong Assemblyman Datuk Tiong Thai King who was represented by his political secretary, Tiong Sie Keong gave away the prizes.

A total of 32 teams participated in the two-day championship which was aimed to strengthen ties and friendship among the youths, as well as to unearth potential players.
