BINTULU: A two-vehicle collision at Pan Borneo Batu 17, Simpang Bakun, today (Nov 17) left seven people injured, including four children.

The accident, involving a Perodua Kancil and a Toyota Hilux, occurred at 3.15 pm.

Two individuals sustained serious injuries, while five others suffered minor injuries.

A team of firefighters from the Bintulu Fire and Rescue Station was dispatched to the scene.

All victims, aged between 5 and 66, were safely extricated without the need for rescue tools.

Three injured victims were transported to a nearby hospital by Emergency Medical Response Services (EMRS) from Bintulu.

The remaining two were attended to by Ministry of Health (MoH) ambulance services.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
