KUCHING: Sarawak Energy’s operations and retail arm, Syarikat SESCO Berhad (SESCO), is set to roll out a new electricity bill format starting Monday (Jan 20).

The energy development company said that the updated design aims to provide customers with a clearer, more detailed breakdown of their energy usage and charges, making it easier for them to understand and manage their electricity consumption.

The new bill format will feature a comprehensive breakdown, including previous and current readings, total units consumed, and a detailed explanation of charges.

“These enhancements were developed based on customer feedback to ensure that bills are both informative and user-friendly.

“In line with the transition to the new bill format, customers are encouraged to subscribe to Sarawak Energy’s e-Bill service, which delivers statements promptly via email and provides easy access on mobile devices.

“This initiative supports Sarawak’s efforts to modernise services and promote digital adoption,” the statement said.

Customers who have not yet subscribed to the e-Bill service will continue to receive printed bills.

Customers can also access help via the SEB Cares app, web portal, or by emailing customercare@sarawakenergy.com.
