KUCHING: Sarawak Energy will carry out a scheduled billing system upgrade from Jan 16-19, through its retail arm, Syarikat SESCO Berhad (SESCO).
The utility provider, in a statement, said the upgrade is part of ongoing efforts to enhance service efficiency and improve the overall customer experience.
During this period, several services will be temporarily unavailable.
“These include bill payments, bill queries and adjustments, and counter services such as changes of name, account registrations, terminations, autopay, and e-Bill subscriptions.
“Meter-related services, including installations, disconnections, and replacements, will also be affected,” the statement said.
Customers are advised to complete necessary transactions before Jan 15 to avoid inconvenience.
Sarawak Energy assured that payments can still be made through official third-party channels, including Pos Malaysia, SPAY Global, local councils, and 7-Eleven outlets.
