BINTULU: The new sepak takraw court at Rumah Lampoh Dana stands as a symbol of community unity and a platform to promote a healthy lifestyle.
Jepak assemblyman Iskandar Turkee stated that the court was not just a facility for sepak takraw enthusiasts but also a space for residents from diverse backgrounds to gather and strengthen bonds.
“This court is more than just a sports venue. It symbolises sportsmanship and unity, benefitting all members of the community. I believe this court will further solidify community relationships,” he said during the court’s inauguration recently.
According to him, the construction of the court was in response to the requests of the Rumah Lampoh Dana community, who wished for a space to foster camaraderie and encourage healthy competitions.
“I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who worked hard to make this project a success, especially the Rumah Lampoh Dana community for their unwavering support and cooperation,” he added.
The new court is expected not only to encourage sports activities and an active lifestyle but also to serve as a catalyst for harmonious relationships among local residents.
