BINTULU: An elderly man died after he was knocked by a lorry at KM17 Bintulu-Miri Road on Monday evening.
State Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Superintendent Alexson Naga Chabu said the man died on the spot.
“The fatal crash occurred around 5.30pm. The victim was about to cross the road towards the Tuai Rumah Awal junction,” he said.
Police and paramedics from Bintulu hospital were despatched to the scene.
The body has been taken to the Bintulu hospital.
