KUCHING: Senari Synergy has reached a major milestone in corporate governance with the official certification of its Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) by Bureau Veritas, a globally recognised body.
This certification underscores the company’s commitment to transparency, integrity, and ethical business practices.
Complying with ISO 37001:2016, the certification was officially presented during a ceremony officiated by Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier’s Department (Integrity and Ombudsman), Datuk Murshid Diraja Dr Juanda Jaya.
The rigorous assessment process evaluated the company’s policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with international anti-bribery standards.
“This certification is a testament to our deep commitment to transparency, accountability, and ethical practices,” said Senari Synergy Chairman, Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr Abdul Aziz.

Group Managing Director Datuk Jefri Ahmad Tambi added that the certification reflects the collective effort of the team in prioritising integrity and continuously improving governance.
As part of its corporate social responsibility, Senari Synergy also provided financial assistance to two staff members affected by personal tragedies — one lost a home in a fire, while another was impacted by severe flooding.
The event also featured the official handover of the ISO 37001:2016 certificate from Bureau Veritas Country Chief Executive Datuk Mohd Nizam Abdul Malik to Jefri, with Dr Juanda as the guest of honour.
With this achievement, Senari Synergy reinforces its dedication to corporate integrity, ethical leadership, and industry best practices.
