SIBU: Sarikei District Council (SDC) and Sarawak Cycling Association (SCA) are jointly organising the Sebangkoi Mountain Bike Challenge 2019.

The event on Aug 18 is supported by the Local Government and Housing Ministry and Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports Ministry and various government departments and agencies in Sarikei. The trials will be held a day earlier on Aug 17.

The aim of the event is to promote Sebangkoi as one of the venues for extreme sports in the Central Region.

Members of the public are invited to participate in the challenge which is divided into the following five categories – Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Men’s Veteran (40 years old and above), Junior Open (below 18 years old) and Sarikei Closed.
