KUCHING: Department of Information (JAPEN) Sarawak director Helmy Hamid received a courtesy visit from Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB) corporate communications general manager Elaine Tan, yesterday.
The visit aimed to engage in discussions regarding potential collaborations between JAPEN Sarawak and SEB in relation to various programmes scheduled for 2025.
It also served as a significant step towards fostering closer ties and exploring areas of mutual collaboration between the two organisations.
During the courtesy call, Elaine expressed SEB’s intention to establish close cooperation with JAPEN Sarawak, particularly in media management.
She stated that such a collaborative effort would be crucial to ensuring the success of the various initiatives and programmes both organisations plan to undertake in the upcoming year.
Present during the courtesy visit were the JAPEN Sarawak deputy director Aziz Abdul Rahman, JAPEN Sarawak Media and Corporate Communications Division head Sri Kestury Mohammed Zamhari, SEB corporate communications senior manager Julan Yu Bit, SEB corporate communications executive Izzairul Izzat and as well as other JAPEN officers.
